The KGZ 305 mitre saw from Holzstar has a soft start and laser projection which allows precise control of the cutting position. The base and rotating plate are made from die-cast aluminium. The saw is compact, rugged and easy to transport at the same time. Adjustable double mitre and double bevel. Adjustable stop rails and laterally extendable support for longer workpieces. 2x adjustable cutting depth limiter with an easily convertible stop. Pull function for an extended cutting range. C-clamp and clamping device to safely secure workpieces. Extraction duct for dust collection bag or external dust extraction unit. 220 volt operatoin.

This saw is great value. Depth of cut is the reason I went to 305mm blade, cutting softwood...
This saw is great value. Depth of cut is the reason I went to 305mm blade, cutting softwood 4x2s is like cutting butter. Very easy setup, the laser is a bit underwhelming so check blade position before cutting (with the lovely soft start).
This is a big, heavy, stable and powerful saw for the price.
Prompt delivery but communication could gave been better- I phoned to order because the website wouldn't send me a reset your password butI I was told "someone could talk me through it" if it was too difficult, I couldn't complete order on phone, password reset finally arrived next day.
As to how well this saw lasts in a trade environment I don't know but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for the price.
