Consumers may cancel their purchase for any new unused purchases (special orders or sale items are not returnable) that are in re-saleable condition within 20 days of delivery for a full refund. The day of delivery is not counted as a day. If the 20th day lands on a non-working day, then the period is extended to the next working day. Delivery costs charged will also be refunded unless some part of the order is kept and then delivery costs where they apply will be calculated accordingly. Where an upgraded from basic delivery is chosen then the additional amount will not be refundable. Consumables, special orders,, sale & clearance items, and generators are non-returnable.
Return carriage costs are the consumer's responsibility. Products must be unassembled, unused and repacked as received and are in a resalable condition with all accessories and manuals or certs included. It must be packaged correctly with an outward protective box (or on a pallet if required) to prevent damage to the product or its packaging. Returns that are not packaged correctly and/or have address labels or sticky tapes applied directly to the sales packaging will not be accepted for return. For your own peace of mind please make sure you use a service that is insured and requires a delivery signature.
We'll pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect, damaged or defective item, etc.). You must inform us within 2 days of delivery if the item is damaged or defective. Please note that means gifts or items that you are not going to be using for a while should be inspected upon receipt.
Manufacturers always have continuous improvement policies. The item received may be slightly different than shown and the colour may vary.
You should expect to receive your refund within 8 working days of us receiving your package, however, in most cases, you will receive a refund much more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper, the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it, and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request.
If you need to return an item login to your account under the "My Account" button on our website and log in. Once logged in click on the "My Orders" option and get the order number for the order that contains the item you want to return. Email us at [email protected] with the order number, which item(s) you want to return and the reason for the return request. We will respond within one business day or less with shipping instructions and an RMA (return merchandise authorization) number. If you do not receive an email within one business day, please call us on 00 353 (0)91 876595. You have 20 days to make a returns request and dispatch your item(s) from the date of delivery. It is your responsibility to ship the returned item(s) to us and to make sure they are securely and properly packaged (or on a pallet, if required). Please use a carrier that is insured and requires a signature as proof of delivery. Items returned without an RMA may not be processed correctly or in a timely manner and will be subject to a 20% restocking fee minimum. So please obtain an RMA number.
Returns for Warranty
For most warranty returns, we will arrange pickup of your item(s), for either return to our warehouse or to the manufacturer for inspection and/or repair. Please see each manufacturer's policy in this regard. It is your responsibility to prepare the returned item(s) for shipment and to make sure they are securely and properly packaged (or on a pallet if required) to protect the item(s) against transit damage or inclement weather when being picked up or delivered. We will require you to confirm by email that the item(s) are prepared for pickup and we will then arrange the pickup. Items should be packaged and protected at least as well as when they were delivered. Items that are damaged with inadequate packing/protection will be the responsibility of the customer. ieDepot will not submit a claim to the carriers where the item was not properly protected for transit as it would rightly be rejected by the carriers. It is not possible for ieDepot to arrange pickup for items that have not been properly prepared. You must confirm that it is prepared correctly before we arrange pickup. Manufacturers reserve the right to have all items submitted for warranty claim to be returned for inspection. For consumers, we or the manufacturer will bear this cost with the most economical collection service available. Commercial or non-consumer customers bear the responsibility for the return costs. Occasionally manufacturers will offer to send replacement parts to be fitted by the customer at their expense. This removes the need for the defective part to be received back first for inspection. The defective will be picked up in parallel with the part being dispatched. Consumables and wear items are not covered by warranty and are user maintenance items – Examples include drive belts, o-rings, welding leads and consumables etc.
Excluded from Returns
Certain purchases are excluded from returns. Consumables and special orders are not returnable as are generators, clearance and sale items. Items marked as shipped directly from the manufacturers are special orders and are non-returnable.
Orders delivered by pallet, which are not consumables or special orders, are returnable but the full pallet delivery charge will be deducted from the refunded amount. In all cases you must first obtain an RMA number from ieDepot Consumables include all blades, hoses, spares, gas, drill bits etc. Food grade regulators are non-returnable.
Returns by commercial or other non-consumer customers are treated differently as there is no legal requirement for us to accept returns. We do, however, offer 10 days from receipt of your delivery to request a return and a further 5 days for you to have your item returned to us. Consumables, special orders and generators are non-returnable and other items as described above.
