Silverline No.10 Biscuit Joinery Biscuits
This biscuit forms accurate, high strength joints in soft or hard woods, plywood, composition boards and other timber. It is a much faster, stronger and more precise than dowelling. The biscuits are made of compressed laminated hardwood which expands upon contact with a water-based woodworking adhesive for an extremely strong joint. The 0 sized biscuit is the smallest size available with size 10 and 20 being progressively bigger. Size 20 is the most popular. 53mm x 19mm. 200 per pack.

ieDepot: Sorry you were disappointed. They are compressed plywood. There are compressed so that they expand and clamp themselves in the slot after you have glued them with a water based glue. The plywood makes them more resislant to breaking along the grain. They are above all else for making perfect alignment and the two surfaces being joined should also be glued where most of your joint strength will come from..
